Description

Installation of a chemical injection building
Background
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin (MB) Region, Eastern Colorado Area Office (ECAO), is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a contemplated construction project titled Arkansas Valley Conduit (AVC) Injection Site. This requirement is being procured under Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a full-and-open competition. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement.

Work Details
The principal components of work include the installation of a chemical injection building, backflow preventers, site improvements, yard piping, vaults and manholes, valves, engine generator, flushing and testing installed piping and valving, disinfection of installed piping, SCADA installation and commissioning, and fiber optic communication system installation and commissioning.

Place of Performance
The work is located along the south side of U.S. Route 50 / Colorado State Highway 96 (SH96) between Devine, Colorado and North Avondale, Colorado in Pueblo County. Disinfection operations will include pipe from Devine, Colorado to the Boone, Colorado and Avondale, Colorado.
