PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE
Construction of a 60 cfs pumping station
This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about August 18, 2024, posted to SAM.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued.
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin, Yuma Area Office, has a requirement for the construction of a 60 cfs pumping station. Principal components for the pumping plant include installation of Archimedes Screw Pump, concrete structure for pumping plant, pile driving, slide gates, dewatering, electrical system, scada and access road.
This requirement is anticipated to be issued unrestricted.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a corresponding small business size standard of $45M.
The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be more than $10,000,000.00.
This requirement will be solicited and awarded using the methos outlined in FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The Government contemplates award of one firm fixed price contract.
The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov. All quotes, and other documents required for the quote submittal, including amendments to the quote, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.
