Description

ACAD 30090; Harden Farms Employee Housing (Phases 1A and 1B).
NPS is not seeking proposals at this time. Please see the attached sources sought notice and respond via email to Tony_Jasper@nps.gov.
Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting market research for the ACAD 30090; Harden Farms Employee Housing project at Acadia National Park in Maine. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. The NPS anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement and will use information obtained through this notice to develop an acquisition strategy. The NPS anticipates issuing a request for proposals in the summer of 2024.

Work Details
The ACAD Harden Farms Employee housing project will use the DSC prototype housing designs to address employee housing needs at the park. The projects phases Ia through phases Ic consist of designing and constructing a 56-bedroom housing solution. Phase 1a/1b includes the use of (2) 8-bedroom dorm buildings and (1) 12-plex (single bedrooms – split into two 6-bedroom bldgs). Phase 1c will be constructed under a future effort.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Acadia National Park in Maine.
