Wilmington Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WVAMC) Wilmington, DE intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed price contract for Project number 460-322, Construct an Administrative Building. The Wilmington Delaware Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Wilmington VAMC) requires a firm fixed price construction contract for Construction of a New Administration Building #460-322. The Wilmington VAMC has a requirement for demolition of Buildings 2, 3, and 4 and construction of a new administrative building to house the tenants of Buildings 2, 3, and 4, and the Administrative Annex, which will also allow for the termination of the lease of the administrative annex. The construction magnitude for this project is $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 and construction is expected to be completed within 545 days after the notice to proceed is issued. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Additionally, the Government intends to use the Best Value tradeoff process source selection approach in accordance with FAR 15.101-1. A One hundred and twenty (120) day proposal acceptance period shall be required. Bid bond, Payment and Performance bonds shall be required. A Pre-proposal Meeting/Site Visit will be announced in the solicitation, and will be held at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington DE 19805.
