XRISM Team Meeting at ASU held Feb 24-28th, 2025

Background
The X-ray Imaging and Spectroscopy Mission (XRISM) Project Science Office at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is hosting a semi-annual meeting of the XRISM Science Team in Tempe, AZ from February 24-28, 2025. This meeting will include participants from the U.S., Japan, and Europe and is part of an international agreement between NASA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to operate the XRISM Mission.

Arizona State University (ASU) has been selected as the venue due to its resources and capability to accommodate the event.

Work Details
ASU is required to provide the following:
- Event space for approximately 150 attendees with audio visual equipment for the main meeting scheduled for February 25-27.
- Event space for about a dozen breakout splinter sessions accommodating 10-50 people on February 24 and February 28.
- Wi-fi access throughout the meeting venue.
- Food and beverages (snacks) during morning and afternoon breaks.
- Nearby restaurant options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Accessibility for attendees to walk from hotels to the venue and dining options.
- Meeting logistical support from student groups from the School of Earth and Space Exploration.
- A venue for a meeting banquet, which will be paid for by attendees.
