Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a new fire station at the Watervliet Arsenal in Watervliet, NY. The project aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the fire department and ensure safety and efficiency in emergency response.

This acquisition is part of the Corps' ongoing commitment to support military installations with modern facilities that meet current standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete construction of a fire station, which includes but is not limited to: site preparation, foundation work, structural framing, roofing, installation of mechanical systems (including HVAC), electrical systems, plumbing, and interior finishes.

Specific tasks include:
- Construction of compartmentalized facilities with dedicated spaces such as vehicle storage areas, dorm rooms, and administrative offices.
- Implementation of quality control procedures during construction to ensure compliance with all specifications and regulations.
- Coordination with the Corps of Engineers throughout the project lifecycle for schedule management, material delivery, labor management, cost management, site security, and personnel assurance.
- Mechanical system testing and commissioning within the designated period of performance.
