Wtgb 140' & 120’ Barge Drydock IDIQ FY24-29   2

Background
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) in Norfolk, VA is seeking contractors to provide comprehensive facilities, materials, equipment, personnel, and services necessary for planned and unplanned dry-dock repairs to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter WTGB 140’ Inland Ice Breaker Tugs and assigned 120’ BARGES. This solicitation is issued under Request for Proposal (RFP) number 70Z08524RIBCT0006.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness of these vessels through timely maintenance and repair services.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, facilities, and other items as required to perform dry-docking, repairs, emergency repairs, and alterations to the WTGB 140' Inland Ice Breaker Tugs and assigned 120' BARGES.

The contract will include a base year and four one-year option periods for a maximum duration of five years. The total ceiling for all contracts awarded under this acquisition is $26,271,876.00 with a minimum guarantee of $10,000.00 per contract. Each task order issued will have a minimum value of $1,000,000.00 and a maximum value of $3,500,000.00.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will span from January 6, 2025 to January 5, 2030 with options for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations as specified in the contract documents; however, it is noted that District 1 WTGB tugs and 120' barges must be serviced at drydock facilities outside of the Great Lakes due to seasonal restrictions.
