*Amendment 0006 is an administrative modification that corrects the submission due date from 27 August 2025 to 2 September 2025 at 10:00 AM ET. This project is for the design/bid/build construction of a comprehensive replacement of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system in facility 20824, a two story (with penthouse), 49,000 square feet (SF) research building comprised of both research laboratory and administrative space. Work includes replacement and consolidation of existing AHUs while converting the facility to variable air volume from a patchwork of other system types. The new modular chiller-heater will be capable of delivering 210 tons of cooling and 1,845 MBH of heating.

Background
This project is for the design/bid/build construction of a comprehensive replacement of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system in facility 20824, a two-story, 49,000 square feet research building at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

The facility includes both research laboratory and administrative space. The goal of the contract is to replace and consolidate existing air handling units (AHUs) while converting the facility to a variable air volume system from a patchwork of other system types. Work Details

1. CLIN 0001: HVAC and Controls replacement and revitalization construction, which encompasses all building work required for the base contract for HVAC and controls replacement in F/20824.

2. Bid Option 1 (CLIN 0002): Includes all scope of work associated with Sequence 3, excluding Sequences 1 and 2. This option can be exercised at any time during the period of performance of the contract.
