Description

To facilitate and host a series of workshops to engage internal and external stakeholders in the scientific and technology communities to identify transformative advanced research concepts to further the DOT's strategic goals.

Background
The U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (OST-R) aims to engage stakeholders in the scientific and technology communities to identify advanced research concepts that align with DOT's strategic goals.

Work Details
The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) will facilitate and host a series of workshops to engage internal and external stakeholders. These workshops aim to identify transformative advanced research concepts across infrastructure topics, including transportation, mobility, equity, and climate.

FAS will also develop an advanced research roadmap based on the workshop outputs.
