Wood Utility Pole IDIQ   2

Background
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), part of the U.S. Department of Energy, is issuing this solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to supply wood utility poles.

The contract aims to support the agency's mission of providing reliable and cost-effective electricity to its customers across various regions, including the Upper Great Plains, Desert Southwest, Sierra Nevada Region, and Rocky Mountain Regions. This solicitation is specifically set aside for small businesses.

Work Details
The contractor will be required to furnish and deliver treated wood utility poles as specified below:
- 40 foot Treated Class 1 Wood Utility Poles - 80 EA
- 45 foot Treated Class 1 Wood Utility Poles - 80 EA
- 45 foot Treated Class 2 Wood Utility Poles - 20 EA
- 50 foot Treated Class 1 Wood Utility Poles - 108 EA
- 50 foot Treated Class 2 Wood Utility Poles - 4 EA
- 55 foot Treated Class 1 Wood Utility Poles - 45 EA
- 55 foot Treated Class 2 Wood Utility Poles - 16 EA
- 60 foot Treated Class 1 Wood Utility Poles - 120 EA
- 60 foot Treated Class 2 Wood Utility Poles - 8 EA
- Additional sizes ranging from 65 feet to over 100 feet with varying quantities.

All poles must be made from Pacific Coast Douglas Fir and treated with Pentachlorophenol preservative according to technical specifications. The minimum guaranteed amount for the total duration of this contract shall be $25,000.00, with a maximum estimated value of $7,500,000.00.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be for a base period of 48 continuous months.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to various locations managed by the Western Area Power Administration in South Dakota and potentially other sites as specified in individual delivery orders.
