The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price requirements contract with a base and four (4) option years for operation and maintenance services at the Wolf Creek Project (Lake Cumberland).Lake Cumberland is located on the Cumberland River, 60 miles south of Lexington, Kentucky. The areas of work are in Pulaski, Wayne, Clinton, Russell, Whitley, and McCreary Counties of Kentucky. Principal cities in the area are Somerset, Monticello, Albany, Jamestown, and Russell Springs. Background
The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price requirements contract with a base and four option years for operation and maintenance services at the Wolf Creek Project (Lake Cumberland). Lake Cumberland is located on the Cumberland River, 60 miles south of Lexington, Kentucky. The areas of work are in Pulaski, Wayne, Clinton, Russell, Whitley, and McCreary Counties of Kentucky. Principal cities in the area include Somerset, Monticello, Albany, Jamestown, and Russell Springs.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all necessary management, supervision, inspection, personnel, materials, tools, parts, fuel, equipment, vehicles, and transportation to perform operations and maintenance services at Lake Cumberland project as specified in the Performance Work Statement.

Key tasks include:
1. Grass Mowing and Maintenance: This involves mowing and trimming grounds around various recreation areas including administrative resource areas and campgrounds. Specific areas to be maintained include Waitsboro Day Use Area, Fishing Creek Recreation Area, Kendall Campground among others.

2. Cleaning Services: This includes cleaning restroom buildings and showerhouses by mopping and disinfecting surfaces; maintaining cleanliness in picnic shelters; removing litter from recreation areas; and ensuring facilities are stocked with necessary supplies such as toilet paper and soap.

3. Janitorial Services: Regular cleaning of the Visitor Center and Resource Manager's Office including sweeping floors, emptying waste containers, kitchen cleaning, restroom servicing which involves disinfecting fixtures and replenishing supplies.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base year starting from February 1st to January 31st for each year with options to extend for four additional years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations around Lake Cumberland in Pulaski, Wayne, Clinton, Russell, Whitley, and McCreary Counties of Kentucky.
