Background
The White Mountain National Forest (WMNF) serves a variety of customers. To provide continued access to the building, WMNF requires snow removal and ice management services. The previous fiscal year required less than 10 snow removal services; however, over the last five years the average number of site visits were 40 per year.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for clearing snow from vehicle travel lanes, parking lots and walkways at the WMNF Headquarters Building in Campton, NH. The parking lots are standard waterproof coated surface. Snow removal of the coated surface requires care and use of composite or rubber blades to minimize chance of damage. Contractor is responsible for clearing snow from entrance and exit driveways. The driveways located on the north and south end of the property, are the only outlets from and to the street. There are two city owned parking lots that share the Norris Cotton driveways. The snow removal contractor will ensure driveways are open for traffic during each visit to the property throughout the snow event.

The contractor will be proactive as to not block adjacent lots, sidewalk entrances and exits. The south driveway between the garage exit and the adjacent parking lot exit is the stockpile area. Contractor shall ensure that the stockpile area does not block the garage exit, parking deck access or adjacent city owned parking areas. Any snow accumulate in the stockpile will be removed within 24/hours following the end of the snow event. Contractor will plow clean designated plowing areas prior to the removal of stockpile. Contractor shall come back to remove snow that has fallen from ramped roofs after the initial snow clearing services.
