Wings and Fins Subassemblies - AMRAAM   3

This notice serves as a Synopsis for procurement of the Wing and Fin Sub-Assemblies which are a sub-components of the AIM-120X, and CATM-120X series of Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM). This acquisition is contemplated as a Price Only Source Selection between Proven vendors Raytheon Company (1151 E Hermans Road, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337) and BK Manufacturing Co Inc (100 TECHNOLOGY PARK, ARAB, AL 35016) under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements (10 USC 2304(c)(l)). Subcontracting opportunities should be addressed to Raytheon Company and BK Manufacturing Co Inc at the above addresses.

The fulfillment of the supplies listed above requires initial investment, first article testing, and an extended period of preparation for manufacture and production.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. Any capability statement will need to demonstrate how the source can provide each of the required Wings and Fins items without substantial duplication of costs.
