21 September 2023 - The purpose of this amendment is to:

  1. Extend the solicitation closing date to 05 October 2023 at 1200 BST. Due to the time and work constraints during the end of the fiscal year, it has been determined that an extension is in the best interest of this requirement to maximize competition and provide sufficient time to all interested vendors.
  2. All other conditions remain unchanged.

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Wildlife Control Services (BASH) to be performed in accordance with all attachments. The services are to be performed at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom, in compliance with UK and EU laws and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide wildlife control services at the specified airfields, including runways, overruns, taxiways, ramps, and aprons, as well as the outlying areas within the immediate vicinity of these installations. The services include regular visits to MOD Sculthorpe to identify and report seasonal high-risk areas on or immediately adjacent to the airfield.

The contractor must also perform control services on specific buildings at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for various tasks such as emergency or special events response, daily activity logging, monthly bird activity reporting, bird strike hazards (BASH) meetings, removal of animal remains, feather/remains identification, scheduled airfield closures, storage, safety measures, watch condition code changes, bird attraction/hazard control, installation passes management, vehicle handling, quality control and customer feedback management, performance evaluation meetings, physical security measures, crisis service performance, conservation of utilities management, and control and handling of hazardous materials.
