Wildland Nomex Coveralls

Background
The U.S. Army is seeking to procure Wildland Fire Coveralls made from Nomex fabric. These coveralls are essential for personnel involved in wildland firefighting and urban interface firefighting, ensuring their safety and compliance with established standards. The contract aims to provide high-quality protective clothing that meets specific safety certifications.

Work Details
The contract includes the delivery of 120 Wildland Fire Coveralls made from 6 oz. yellow Nomex fabric. The coveralls must feature:
- UL certification to NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting and Urban Interface Fire Fighting (2022 Edition)
- CAL-OSHA Title 8 Section 3410D approval
- 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material (2 inches)
- YKK® Brass Zipper Front Closure
- Stand Up Overlapping Collar
- 2-Piece Set-In Sleeves
- Elasticized cuffs with rugged take-up straps
- Vertical Back Pleats
- Multiple pockets including:
- 2” x 3.5” x 8” Radio Pocket on Left Chest
- Mic Strap above Radio Pocket
- 5” x 5” Spade Pocket with flap on Right Chest
- Side Slash Pocket
- Pass thru pockets with Snap closure
- 2” x 10” x 10” Expansion Pockets
- Two 6.5” x 8” Rear Internal Seat Pockets with Flaps
- Self-Material Reinforced Knees
- 18” Brass Delrin® YKK Leg Zippers.

The coveralls must be available in sizes Large, XL, XXL, and XXXL, totaling to a maximum budget of $50,000.
