The National Energy Technology Lab, part of the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking quotations for the procurement of a 1-Gbps wide area network (WAN) connecting their facilities in Albany, OR, Houston, TX, Morgantown, WV, and Pittsburgh, PA. The WAN will be used to support the transfer of voice, video, and application data between the four sites. The base period of performance is three years from June 15, 2022, to June 14, 2025, with two one-year option periods. Interested GSA schedule contract holders are encouraged to submit their quotations via GSA eBuy or email. The evaluation will be based on technical acceptability and the lowest firm-fixed price.

The delivery of the WAN is expected by June 14, 2025. The place of performance will be multiple locations including Albany, OR; Houston, TX; Morgantown, WV; and Pittsburgh, PA. The delivery location code is 05098. The option years for the WAN are as follows: Option Year One is from June 15, 2025, to June 14, 2026; Option Year Two is from June 15, 2026, to June 14, 2027.

It's important to note that this solicitation is only open to GSA schedule contract holders and quotes must include GSA schedule contract pricing. Open market pricing will not be considered for award. The Government anticipates making a single award to the GSA schedule holder with the lowest firm-fixed price and a technically acceptable quote. Technical acceptability will be determined based on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to the solicitation.
