Wide Area Mower

Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The purpose of this contract is to procure a Wide Area Mower to support the Army's operational needs. The agency aims to acquire commercial products that meet specific performance and quality standards.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of 2 units of the Wide Area Mower, specifically the Toro Z Master with Part Number 7500. The salient characteristics include:
- Cut Width: 132” through 144”
- Deck: Reinforced 7 Gauge Minimum, Steel, Adjustable Height, Anti-Scalp or Gage Wheels
- Commercial Engine: Air Cooled, Filtered, Minimum 40HP up to 50HP Maximum
- Drive System: Filtered, Fan Cooled, Hydraulic, Gear Pumps, or Wheel Motors
- Tires/Wheels: Rear and Front Caster as standard equipment
- Speed: Up to 15 mph
- Fuel Capacity: Minimum 10 Gallon up to 20 Gallon
- Suspension: Seat with options including Flex Forks and Air Ride
- Electric System: Minimum 12 Volt, Maintenance Free Battery with Electromagnetic PTO Clutch and Ignition options (Key or Touch Pad)
- Safety features including operator presence switch and parking brake (hand or foot)
- Warranty: Minimum of 1 year - Unconditional
- Manuals for mower operation and parts due at time of delivery. All offers must be F.O.B. destination; offers not meeting this requirement will be rejected. Only new equipment is accepted; used or remanufactured products are not allowed.

Period of Performance
Preferred delivery time is within 30 days from the date of award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of being an authorized distributor or OEM for the Toro Z Master model specified in the solicitation. Additionally, all products must comply with domestic sourcing requirements as outlined in the Buy American Act.
