Whitesage and One Way ESR Seeding

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arizona Strip District, is undertaking the White Sage and One Way Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation project to treat approximately 3,048 acres burned in the 2025 wildfires. The goal of this contract is to restore wildlife habitat and improve rangeland health through seeding and chaining operations on BLM-administered lands.

Work Details
The contractor will apply government-furnished seed across the designated areas, ensuring no ground disturbance occurs during the process. Key tasks include:
- Uniformly distributing seed at specified rates: approximately 7.5 lbs/acre for White Sage (~21,250 lbs total) and 9.9 lbs/acre for One Way (~2,140 lbs total).
- Equipment must be calibrated prior to use, with lids/covers required to prevent seed blowout.
- Daily submission of project log data tracking drop zones.
- Seed application is prohibited when wind exceeds 10 mph, and dust abatement must be managed at staging areas.
- The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and supplies necessary for the task while adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.

Coconino County, AZ (White Sage Unit) and Mohave County, AZ (One Way Unit). Specific coordinates are:

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of one year of experience with similar seed application operations and provide two references demonstrating satisfactory past performance. Additionally, contractors must ensure that all equipment meets specified calibration requirements and that personnel are trained in safety protocols related to hazardous materials.
