Wharton Colorado River Phase I Project   3

Background
The solicitation is for the Wharton Colorado River Phase I Project, an Unrestricted Procurement, Request for Proposal, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The estimated price range of the proposed construction is between $25,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00. The work includes construction of earthen levee or dam projects and is governed by the DFARs 236.20(ii) Disclosure.

Work Details
The scope of the project includes all work required for Construction: Wharton, Colorado River, Phase 1. The work shall be in accordance with the Request for Proposal documents.
Proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price, contract procured through fair opportunity process using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable awardable over the compliant technical offering of all proposals.
The project includes various construction tasks such as unclassified excavation, embankment work, excess material haul-off, construction of maintenance roads, drainage improvements and permanent seeding.

Period of Performance
The performance period is mandatory and negotiable within calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Wharton, Texas.
