Wet Blast Cabinet

Background
The Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is issuing a solicitation for a Wet Blast cabinet to be used for cleaning and preparing surfaces. The goal of this contract is to provide equipment that effectively removes contaminants such as rust, paint, and grease, thereby supporting the depot's operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor is required to design, fabricate, deliver, unload, install, calibrate, and demonstrate the functional operation of the Wet Blast cabinet. The cabinet must be capable of propelling a mix of water and abrasive blast media onto surfaces. Specific requirements include:
- The Wet Blast cabinet must be a current model constructed with non-corrosive materials and a welded frame.
- It should operate in a closed-loop system with an automatic pause shut-off valve.
- Controls must include nozzle air pressure regulation, safety door interlock, and rinse pressure regulator.
- All necessary operator and maintenance manuals must be provided.
- The contractor must also remove any previous inoperable Wet Blast cabinet from the installation site.
