Western Command Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF)

Background
The Western Command Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF) project is in support of the Office of Secure Transportation (OST) at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), Albuquerque, NM. The project involves providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, facilities, engineering, and management for the AOWC VMF. The project's magnitude is more than $10,000,000 and the site coordinates are stated in Attachment 1.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor, materials, equipment, facilities, engineering, and management necessary for the AOWC VMF. The project includes design and construction tasks to be completed within specific timeframes after receiving the notice to proceed.

The work includes providing all personnel, facilities, equipment, material, supplies, and services required to complete the statement of work as described in Section C. The Contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award. Sealed offers are due at the specified place by a specific local time and date. All offers are subject to work requirements and other provisions and clauses incorporated in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The performance period is mandatory negotiable with a completion date not later than 525 days after receiving the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), Albuquerque, NM.
