Background
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) intends to make a sole source contract award to a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern, Viking Bros. LLC., to perform herbicide and fertilizer services with North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 561730, Landscaping Services) for a 60-days at the West Virginia and Grafton National Cemeteries. The West Virginia National Cemetery located at 18-56 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton WV 26354, has an immediate need for herbicide and fertilizer services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to provide herbicide and fertilization services at the West Virginia and Grafton National Cemeteries. The services will be provided in accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications, requirements, and schedules of the contract, including National Cemetery Administration Standard Operating Procedures and Operational Standards & Measures.
The work involves three turf applications: #1 for pre-emergent control of annual weed grasses such as crabgrass and goosegrass combined with a post-emergent herbicide; #2 for pre-emergent control of annual weed grasses and broadleaf weeds; #3 for combination pre/post emergent control for annual weed grasses and broadleaf weeds applied in liquid form along with granular turf fertilization using a specific fertilizer with a 26-0-12 NPK ratio with a minimum 50% slow release SCU (sulfur coated urea).

Period of Performance
The proposed contract action is for 60 days.
