The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement:

This solicitation, W912P823B0024, will be issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 11 January 2023 (Updated: Feburary 2023). Actual issue date and anticipated bid opening will be shown when the solicitation is issued.

The work consists of clearing and grubbing, placing sand fill, installation of wick drains, separator fabric, and 400,000 cy compacted clay embankment, constructing access road along protected side of levee berm, excavating for drainage canals, access road construction, fertilizing, turf establishment and all other work incidental thereto. This work is located in the vicinity of Laplace, LA. The access road is located 600 ft east of the intersection of US Hwy 61 and Oswald Ave.

The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.
