Description

The Forest Service has a requirement for one utility terrain vehicle, UTV-mounted weed sprayer and one truck transportable skid-mounted weed sprayer.

Background
The Forest Service requires weed spraying equipment for the Malheur National Forest to aid in weed eradication efforts.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying one lightweight UTV-mounted weed sprayer and one skid-mounted weed sprayer for truck-bed transport.

The UTV-mounted sprayer includes a 12V deep cycle marine battery, five 12V dc electric pumps, two radio control-retraction hose reels with 150-foot hoses, a minimum 50-gallon low profile tank, boomless spray nozzles, and a rinse tank. It must fit in the bed of a Polaris Ranger XP with a dry weight of 500 lbs or less.

The skid-mounted sprayer features a 5.5 HP Honda OHV motor with electric start, high pressure diaphragm pump, one radio control-retraction hose reel with a 300-foot hose, a minimum 100-gallon tank, and boomless spray nozzles. It must fit in the bed of an F250 utility truck with a dry weight of 500 lbs or less.
