Description

Hill Air Force Base requires the following product(s): 40 Jimsphere High Resolution Wind Profiler, 2-meter diameter, clear 1/2 mil polyester film. See the attachment 1. SOW and 3. RFQ for guidance.
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Evaluation is on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. All offers will be evaluated on their proposed Total Price. The contract will be awarded to the company with the lowest price that fully meets all specifications. Only the lowest priced proposal will be evaluated for technical acceptability. The next lowest offer will only be evaluated if the aforementioned offer is not found technically acceptable (and so on). Only one award will be made under this solicitation.

Background
Hill Air Force Base is seeking to acquire weather balloons as part of the Atmospheric Meteorological Profiling System (AMPS) Replacement Project. The goal of this contract is to provide the necessary equipment to support meteorological profiling efforts. The acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the contract will be awarded based on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide 40 Jimsphere High Resolution Wind Profilers, which are 2-meter diameter devices made from clear 1/2 mil polyester film. The specific details are as follows:
- CLIN: 0001
- Description: Jimsphere High Resolution Wind Profiler, 2-meter diameter, clear 1/2 mil polyester film IAW the attached SOW
- Quantity: 40
The products must meet all specifications outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

Period of Performance
Delivery not to exceed 120 days after receipt of order (ARO).
