Wear/Towable Boom Lift

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a towable articulating boom lift to support maintenance and repair operations in the Western Arctic National Parklands (WEAR) located in Kotzebue, Alaska.

The goal of this contract is to enhance safety and operational efficiency for NPS personnel performing maintenance on government-owned buildings and infrastructure in remote Arctic conditions.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide one new towable articulating boom lift with the following specifications:
- Minimum platform height: 35 feet
- Minimum platform capacity: 500 pounds
- Hydraulic outrigger stabilization system
- DOT-approved towable trailer configuration
- Electric, battery-powered, or hybrid power system suitable for commercial maintenance operations
- Non-marking tires suitable for commercial use
- Maximum transport weight not exceeding approximately 4,500 pounds.

Suggested acceptable products include Haulotte 3522A or Genie TZ-34/20 or approved equal. The unit must be delivered fully assembled, operational, and include all necessary documentation such as operator manuals and warranty information.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from July 20, 2026, to September 15, 2026.

Place of Performance
Western Arctic National Parklands (WEAR), 171 3rd Avenue, Kotzebue, Alaska 99752.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set Aside. Bidders must demonstrate technical knowledge and capability to meet the specifications outlined in the Statement of Work. All vendors must be willing to submit to a background check.
