Description

The project scope of work specifically includes exteriro Parking Lot Signage and Medical Office Building (MOB) signage installation at the VA Garland VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes using the established interior and exterior signage standards developed for the VA North Texas Helathcare System to develop a complete interior and exterior siganage and wayfinding program.

Background
The project scope of work specifically includes exterior Parking Lot signage and Medical Office Building (MOB) signage installation at the VA Garland VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes using the established interior and exterior signage standards developed for the VA North Texas Healthcare System to develop a complete interior and exterior signage and wayfinding program.

Work Details
The project will consist of 3 phases of the design build process. Phase 1 will include programming for new exterior signage in the parking lots and 100% installation of Medical Office Building (MOB) previously purchased signage.
Phase 2 will include fabrication and delivery of exterior signage as detailed in the approved specifications and drawings.
Phase 3 will include installation of new signage and previously purchased MOB signage followed by a comprehensive punch list walkthrough process for quality control and 100% completion. The project also involves programming for new life-safety / regulatory signage for compliance with accessibility laws, building codes, life-safety codes, health codes, local sign ordinances, and authorities having jurisdiction including IBC, IFC, ADA/ABA.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Garland VA Medical Center located at 2300 Marie Curie Blvd. Garland, TX 75042.
