Water Treatment Service HVAC System FA4497-WTS-HVAC-SYSTEM

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.
There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response.

The 436th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of small business concern contractors capable of providing the following services:

Description of Services: The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, transportation and supervision necessary to provide a service program to control corrosion, slime and algae in the condensers and service the thermal ice storage systems, closed loop heating and cooling systems, gas-fired heating hot water systems and water softeners at Dover AFB, DE.

Background
The 436th Contracting Squadron is seeking information from small business contractors capable of providing water treatment services for HVAC systems at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE.

The goal of this contract is to maintain the efficiency and longevity of HVAC systems through effective water treatment, which includes controlling corrosion, slime, and algae in various systems.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide a service program that includes:
1. Control of corrosion, slime, and algae in condensers.
2. Service of thermal ice storage systems.
3. Maintenance of closed loop heating and cooling systems.
4. Service of gas-fired heating hot water systems and water softeners.
5. Compliance with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) usage as required by AFI 32-7086, including submission of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for HAZMATs used during the contract performance.
6. Provision of experienced technicians with a minimum of 5 years in industrial water treatment for HVAC systems, including a chemical engineer on staff.
7. On-site services including testing and analysis, operator training, system log reviews, and adjustments as needed.
