Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas, is seeking to procure chemical water treatment services for various water systems.

This contract is aimed at ensuring compliance with VHA standards and requirements while supporting the mission of providing high-quality healthcare to veterans. The procurement is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the chemical treatment of the water system, which includes:
- Boiler plant (water and steam) treatment
- Chillers (all condensers, all cooling towers water side) treatment
- Heating hot water treatment
- Potable water well treatment

Additionally, the contractor must manage the water softener system for the boiler system and polisher system. The contractor shall provide all necessary supplies and technical advisory services, including reports on proper water chemistry treatment to ensure compliance with VHA standards. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision, transportation, and anything else necessary to perform the work as described in the Statement of Need must be provided by the contractor.

Period of Performance
The contract will have one Base Period of 365 calendar days and four (4) additional one-year option periods.
