Description

The objective of this service contract is to have a contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, software (needed for the general operation of the equipment), travel, ICRA Barriers, supervisors, and qualified personnel to provide annual and bi-annual preventive maintenance services for four (4) condenser water pumps, eight (8) chilled water pumps, and four (4) cooling tower motors and gearboxes. The Premises and all areas of the Property, to which the Government has routine access, shall be maintained in a clean condition. In addition, the contractor shall provide supplies and equipment for the term of the contract. It is understood this statement of work is not inclusive of all assigned duties and/or responsibilities but provides a general overview of overall performance expectations and responsibilities.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the VISN 22 at the VA Long Beach Medical Center, is seeking to establish a service contract for preventive maintenance services. This initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to ensure the operational efficiency of critical equipment within the Tibor Rubin Veterans Affairs Healthcare System located in Long Beach, California.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, software necessary for the general operation of the equipment, travel, ICRA Barriers, supervisors, and qualified personnel. The specific tasks include:
- Annual and bi-annual preventive maintenance services for four (4) condenser water pumps.
- Annual and bi-annual preventive maintenance services for eight (8) chilled water pumps.
- Annual and bi-annual preventive maintenance services for four (4) cooling tower motors and gearboxes.
Additionally, the contractor is responsible for maintaining all areas of the property in a clean condition and providing necessary supplies and equipment throughout the contract term.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base year with an estimated start date of September 15, 2025, followed by up to four (4) option years at the discretion of the agency.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Tibor Rubin Veterans Affairs Healthcare System located in Long Beach, California.
