Water for Injection/Pure Steam Generation and Distribution Systems Maintenance

Background
The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) has been a leader in addressing significant threats to Soldier readiness and lethality since 1893. Their mission is to provide the best medical protection and support for Soldiers before, during, and after deployment.

The Pilot Bioproduction Facility (PBF) within WRAIR conducts research, development, production, and testing of vaccines and other biological products, ensuring compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP). This contract aims to maintain water for injection and pure steam generation and distribution systems critical for the PBF's operations.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform maintenance tasks as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes:
- Quarterly maintenance every three months as per section 5.2.2.1 of the PWS.
- Semiannual maintenance every six months as per section 5.2.2.2 of the PWS, including preventive maintenance parts (SN: 9805).
- Annual maintenance every twelve months as per section 5.2.2.3 of the PWS, including preventive maintenance parts (SN: 9806).
- Emergency maintenance in accordance with section 5.3.1 of the PWS.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from May 5, 2026, to May 4, 2027, with options for additional years.

Place of Performance
All work will be conducted at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research - Pilot Bioproduction Facility located at 9100 Brookville Rd Bldg 501, Silver Spring, MD 20910-1876.
