Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Veterans Health Administration, is seeking to procure water chiller maintenance and repair services for the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center (CNVAMC).

The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation and longevity of water chillers located at both the Uptown and Downtown buildings of CNVAMC in Augusta, GA. This acquisition is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide labor and materials to conduct preventive maintenance on water-cooled chillers located at CNVAMC Uptown Building 79 and Downtown Building 802. Specific tasks include:
- Performing 11 preventative maintenance inspections and 1 annual manufacturer's preventative maintenance service on seven water chillers and eight variable speed drives.
- Mechanically cleaning all condenser tubes and heads annually.
- Conducting vibration analysis on main compressor and motor bearings annually, with written results provided.
- Replacing normally replaced PM parts during each visit (e.g., oil filters, gaskets).
- Providing oil recycle/disposal certificates for used oil removed during procedures.
- Performing annual PM on three ABB variable speed drives and five Eaton Electrical variable speed drives.
- Cleaning cooling towers, inspecting structure, fans, motors, belts, nozzles, and other components.
- Removing biological growth from cooling towers and lubricating mechanical components as per manufacturer recommendations.
- Submitting service reports to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 14 days after each service.
