The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is conducting market research in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The service is for the provision of Water Chemical Testing and Consultation Services. The services will be provided at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner located in Butner, North Carolina. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

4. Implementing sludge conditioning measures, performing blow-down procedures to manage solid concentrations, and using neutralizing agents for condensate return lines.
5. Developing a cooling tower water treatment program that includes biocide treatments, periodic blow-downs, and corrosion control methods without heavy metals.
6. Providing consulting services including comprehensive water treatment program documentation, operational instructions, testing procedures, material supply delivery on a quarterly basis, bi-weekly site visits for analysis, monthly reporting of discrepancies with corrective actions recommended, and training for staff.
