This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12)
and will be negotiated pursuant to FAR Part 15. The 718th Civil Engineering Squadron has a requirement for the
operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The proposed contract will be awarded using full
and open competition. This service will be conducted at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan. Period of performance
is five (5) years with a six (6) month extension of service clause. The anticipated effective date will be 1 July
2023. The government intends to make a single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value
considering price, and past performance. Solicitation No. FA5270-23-Q-0006 will be issued
as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of
221320. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 7 April 2023 at https://www.sam.gov. Proposals
