Description

Background
The Government is issuing Solicitation N0042126Q1357 as an intent to sole source for the procurement of Calibration Standards (CALSTDs) and ancillary equipment to support Aviation Fleet Intermediate Calibration Activities, Fleet Training Activities, and Aviation Navy Calibration Laboratories (NCLs).

The contract will be awarded on a firm fixed-price basis to Wasson, which is the only authorized distributor for these products. The use of NAVAIR METCAL equipment funding is aimed at ensuring proper calibration standards are available for maintenance assets in the aviation sector.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following items:
1. P/N GC1-TCD-TCD Wasson-ECE Application: Determination of Light Gases in Nitrogen and Air Samples - Qty 1
- Configuration of an Agilent Technologies 8890 Gas Chromatograph with dual thermal conductivity detectors (TCD/TCD) for analysis of light gases.
- Includes necessary analytical columns, restrictors, fittings, auxiliary isothermal oven, method development, test chromatograms, and documentation.
- 2508 Gas sample filter kit included.
2. P/N 8890 Gas Chromatograph - Qty 1
- G3540A - 8890 Mainframe
- Options for TCD and auxiliary EPC included.
3. Open LAB Chem Station core software and workstation license - Qty 1
4. Agilent Open LAB Instrument Driver for GC - M8400AA - Qty 1
5. Appropriate filtration and Moisture Traps for All Instrument Gases - Qty 1
6. Spare Parts including various valves, tubing, flow meter, dual stage regulator, and more.
7. On-site Installation and Familiarization training for 2 days.
8. One Year Limited Warranty on all units.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be authorized distributors of Wasson products to bid or receive award. They must also maintain Wasson Warranty on all items provided.

Solicitation N0042126Q1357 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 12 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Wasson, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). Wasson is only available directly from the manufacturer.

Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received.

If a bid is received from another vendor, you must be an authorized distributer with Wasson and will need to be able to keep Wasson Warranty.
