Background
The Washington Aqueduct Civil Works SATOC is a single award task order contract for the repair or upgrade of civil works infrastructure related to water treatment facilities and delivery of safe water. The base contract ordering period will be five (5) years with a total task order capacity of up to $9M. The construction services consist of typical elements for repairs, rehabilitation, modification, upgrades, and renovations of infrastructure within an industrial environment and ancillary design services. The work is primarily at Washington Aqueduct facilities within the boundaries of the Baltimore District.

Work Details
The construction tasks include but are not limited to site clearing, earthwork, site drainage and utilities, roads and sidewalks, cast in place concrete, structural work, carpentry, masonry, joint sealing, grouting, asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, and painting. Specific task orders anticipated to be issued under this contract may include parking lot resurfacing, gravel maintenance access road repair, driveway paving, hill stabilization and erosion control, concrete crane pad installation,
fine grading and drainage improvements to reduce building flooding,
and structural renovation and construction on the exterior of structures such as canopies, shade structures,
stairs,
ramps.

Period of Performance
The base contract ordering period will be five (5) years with a total task order capacity of up to $9M. The period of performance for individual task orders may extend beyond the end of the ordering period of the base contract.

Place of Performance
The work is to be performed primarily at Washington Aqueduct facilities within the boundaries of the Baltimore District.
