WAREHOUSE EXECUTION SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY MODERNIZATION (WESTM)   3

DLA requires a complete technology refresh and replacement of the existing warehouse control system (WCS) Government-developed Information Technology (IT) software (IE: the Equipment Control System (ECS)), with a modern Warehouse Execution System (WES). Replacement of ECS with a modern WES is anticipated to be achieved by acquiring supplies and services from industry leading experts in commercially available logistics and distribution IT. The new WES is anticipated to provide DLA with a sustainable, cybersecure solution capable of controlling existing automated material handling equipment (AMHE) at the agency's Distribution Centers (DCs), executing warehouse operations using predictive, data-driven analytics, and rapidly integrating new technologies that will increase operational efficiency to enhance mission performance. Brand name Dematic Software Licenses and Services are required to meet DLA's operational needs for the enterprise-wide Warehouse Execution System Technology Modernization (WESTM) requirement.
