Wa Willard NFH Roof Repair Quarters 1&3   2

Background
The Willard National Fish Hatchery, located at 5501-B Cook-Underwood Road, Cook, WA 98605, is seeking a contractor for a firm fixed price construction contract aimed at performing roof repairs and modifications on two onsite residences.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the structural integrity of the residences by addressing specific issues related to the roof and supporting structures.

Work Details
The scope of work includes multiple tasks:
1) Mobilization - confirming scope and on-site conditions, providing an updated work plan, and coordinating material storage;
2) Gutters, Siding, and Soffit - removing and reinstalling gutters, siding, and soffit without damage;
3) Gable Barge Rafters - inspecting and replacing any wood rot;
4) Fascia Boards - inspecting and replacing rotted boards;
5) Soffit Framing End Joints - replacing end joints to strengthen beams;
6) Vertical End Joists/Beams - replacing two vertical beams for roof support;
7) Temporary Supports - installing supports prior to removing existing posts;
8) Installation of New Posts - anchoring new posts securely;
9) Sub-Sheathing/Building Wrap - installing new sheathing and covering with building wrap;
10) Reinstalling Gutters, Siding, and Soffit after repairs;
11) Painting touch-ups to match adjacent surfaces.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from July 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
All construction activities will take place at the Willard National Fish Hatchery located at 5501-B Cook-Underwood Road, Cook, WA 98605.
