This project will install a new two-megawatt diesel generator on the JSOC compound, at Fort Liberty, NC. The existing generator controls and electrical distribution infrastructure are to be expanded to allow the new generator to be synchronized with the four existing generators. Project shall install new medium voltage transformers, switchgear, distribution cable, duct-banks, breakers, equipment for communications and controls, a new fuel supply system consisting of fuel tanks, and a polishing system. All work is to be performed in accordance with the attached specifications, drawings, and contract provisions. * Amendment 0008 updates CLIN 0002 of the solicitation to add the directed sub-contract amount of $15,869,743.95.** NOTE: Amendment 0009 changes the required response date/time has changed from 23-Jul-2024 01:00 PM to 24-Jul-2024 01:00 PM. Background
The project involves the installation of a new two-megawatt diesel generator on the JSOC compound at Fort Liberty, NC. The existing generator controls and electrical distribution infrastructure are to be expanded to allow the new generator to be synchronized with the four existing generators. The project also includes the installation of new medium voltage transformers, switchgear, distribution cable, duct-banks, breakers, equipment for communications and controls, a new fuel supply system consisting of fuel tanks, and a polishing system.

Work Details
The work to be completed under the contract includes site work and demolition to the 5-foot line, construction of a microgrid, construction of a fuel farm, installation of the generator and control systems, and payment and performance bond premiums for all bid items. The period of performance for CLINS 0001-0004 shall not exceed 365 calendar days.

Place of Performance
All work is to be performed at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
