Background
The solicitation is for refuse removal services at the Rend Lake Project Office in Benton, Illinois. The contract will be awarded on a Firm Fixed Price basis and will have a period of performance of one 12-month base ordering period and four 12-month ordering periods, with an additional 6-month extension included as a 6th ordering period for this contract.
The Rend Lake Project offers various facilities including swimming beaches, boat ramps, campgrounds, walking and biking trails, picnic areas, and other day use facilities. The project is located in Franklin and Jefferson counties along Illinois Interstate 57 approximately 15 miles south of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. The contract will be performed at heavily used recreational areas within the Rend Lake Project.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all personnel, supervision, tools, equipment, material, supplies, transportation, fuel, labor, and other items necessary to perform refuse removal services in recreational and administration areas and other areas of the Rend Lake Project as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, and management necessary to accomplish the required specified services.
The work shall consist of furnishing all personnel, supervision, tools, equipment, material, supplies, transportation, fuel, labor, and other items necessary to install, move, remove refuse; clean; repair; maintain; and service dumpsters at recreational areas and facilities at Rend Lake as per the PWS. The contractor shall also provide additional services to dumpsters for holiday weekends and special events held on the project.
The estimated quantities list includes various dumpster sizes for different ordering periods.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one 12-month base ordering period and four 12-month ordering periods with an additional 6-month extension included as a 6th ordering period for this contract.

The work will be performed at the Rend Lake Project in Benton, Illinois.
