Background
The US Army Corps of Engineers has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Albeni Falls Dam (AFD) Powerhouse Bridge Crane Rehabilitation. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside acquisition using the best-value tradeoff (BVTO) source selection process to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) type contract. The magnitude of the construction project is between $10 million and $25 million.

Work Details
The scope of work includes design, manufacturing/fabrication, transportation to Albeni Falls Dam, on-site installation and assembly, inspection, load testing, and demolition of existing crane components. The Offeror is required to develop a project schedule for the entire project duration from contract award to contract closeout in PERT and GANTT format. The proposal must also address subcontractor coordination and communication necessary to successfully complete the work.
