Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District has a need for Mowing and Trimming Services to support Stockton Lake Project in the Operations Division of the Kansas City District. Stockton Lake is a flood control reservoir located on the Sac River in southwest Missouri, providing flood protection for downstream areas and part of a network of Corps of Engineer Lakes that help control flooding in the Missouri and Mississippi River basins. The lake encompasses approximately 25,000 acres of surface water and provides benefits in areas of flood damage reduction, recreation, fish and wildlife management, hydroelectric power, and water quality improvement.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Park Mowing Services as defined in the Performance Work Statement. The mowing equipment shall be commercial grade with appropriate roll over protection and safety belts.

The Contractor shall mow areas to a uniform height specified without skips, gaps, free of windrows or piled clippings, uncut vegetation, rutting or scalping. The period of performance shall be for one Base Year of 12 months and four 12-month option years.

The period of performance shall be for one Base Year of 12 months and four 12-month option years. Actual mowing services will be performed from 1 April through 31 October in accordance with contract schedules.
