Description

This is a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 15 and 36, small business, two-phase, design-build source selection. This solicitation requires the Design/Build Construction of Zone 8 Indoor Firing Range and Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) Facility at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.

The approximate construction cost range for this contract is $10,000,000-$25,000,000. It is the intent of the Government to award a single Firm Fixed-Price contract.

This project is required to provide a 20,560 gross square foot, 14-lane, 25-meter, fully contained, Indoor Firing Range and a Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) facility with maintenance, weapon and ammunition vault, classroom, firearms simulator room, administration area, building services, and restrooms. The facility will be classified as a non-separated, mixed use occupancy with an intended occupancy of 34 personnel. The proposed construction type is classified as Type II-B, non-combustible, unprotected. Supporting facilities include electric services, potable water, fire protection, sanitary sewer, pedestrian walkways, parking, grading, drainage, landscaping.
