JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for upgrade of the main gate access control point (ACP) at Defense Depot San Joaquin, California. ACP facilities are comprised of a gatehouse, a visitor control center, active barriers, vehicle inspection facility with under vehicle inspection system, guard booths and over-watch buildings. The facilities will have fire suppression and alarm systems, mass notification systems, heating, ventilation and air condition systems, electrical power and communications, building automation systems, energy monitoring and control systems and utilities. The Contractor is solely responsible for measuring and determining the actual lengths and quantities required for the Work. Contractor is to coordinate and work closely with facility personnel as necessary to minimize disruption.

This acquisition is proceeding as an Invitation For Bid (IFB).

Estimated Cost Range is between $15-25M. DFAR 236.204(i)

Period of Performance (POP) for Construction (after NTP): 540 Days

This Procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code: 236220. Construction of Institutional Buildings. The size standard for this code is $36,500,000. All questions should be directed to the Contract Specialist, Karen Scott at Karen.Scott@usace.army.mil

It is anticipated that the IFB will be issued by the end of October 2019, for downloading at the Government's website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies will be issued.
