Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, is issuing this solicitation for mowing, maintenance, cleaning, and janitorial services at Yatesville Lake in Louisa, Kentucky. The project aims to support flood damage reduction, recreation, water quality control, and fish and wildlife enhancement.

The contract is structured as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of one year and four optional one-year periods.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles required to perform the following tasks:

1. Grass Mowing and Maintenance: This includes mowing approximately 75 acres of landscaped areas to maintain safe and attractive public spaces. Tasks involve trimming, weeding, raking grounds, removing or replacing vegetation, trimming trees and brush, and clearing access roads.

2. Cleaning Services: Removal of trash and debris from recreational areas including picnic areas and campgrounds during high visitor use times. Cleaning vault restrooms/port-a-jons thoroughly including disinfection of surfaces.

3. Janitorial Services: Daily cleaning of the Yatesville Lake Office and Big Sandy Area Office including restrooms and common areas before 10 a.m. Eastern time. This involves dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning fixtures and surfaces without leaving soap film or streaks.

4. Facility Repair & Maintenance: Non-routine work as needed based on task orders issued by the contracting officer.

Period of Performance
The contract period will begin upon award and continue for one year with options for four additional one-year periods.
