THE ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $25,000 AND $100,000.
APPLICABLE NEW MEXICO GROSS RECEIPTS TAX RATE FOR DONA ANA COUNTY IS 6.4975% AS OF THE DATE OF SOLICITATION.
BID OPENING ADDRESS: MICC-FORT BLISS, 111 PERSHING RD. ROOM 220, FORT BLISS, TX 79916.
RESULTING CONTRACT WILL BE FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP).

Background
The project is issued by the Directorate of Public Works at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. The mission is to construct a raised curb at the intersection of Picatinny and Headquarters Avenues to enhance traffic management and safety. The goal of the contract is to provide a firm fixed price construction service for this project.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:

1. Civil Work: Placing approximately 90 linear feet of Type IV concrete curb according to provided designs and NMDOT specifications. Backfilling the curb with borrow material and landscaping rock, including pavement markings, curb markings, and installation of solar-powered traffic signs.

2. Demolition: Sawcutting and removal of asphalt to facilitate curb placement.

Other specific work requirements include compliance with state, local, and federal laws; obtaining necessary licenses and permits; maintaining safety protocols; managing waste disposal; and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at the intersection of Picatinny and Headquarters Avenues, located just inside the Las Cruces Main Gate at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico.
