Background
The Anniston Army Depot is seeking to procure twelve (12) new and current model Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Vertical Milling Machines. The goal of this contract is to enhance the depot's machining capabilities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards as outlined in various applicable documents. The contractor will be responsible for delivering, installing, and providing training for the machines.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply, delivery, and installation of CNC Vertical Machining Centers that meet the following specifications:

- **General Requirements**: Fully programmable for three (3)-axis machining, suitable for milling, boring, tapping, and engraving.

- **Spindle**: Gearbox with Max Torque 250 ft-lb/f @ 450 RPM minimum; Inline Direct-Drive; coolant delivery through spindle.

- **Spindle Motor**: Minimum 30 horsepower; capable of 10,000 RPM maximum; liquid cooled with Air/Oil Injection bearings.

- **Axes of Travel**: Minimum three axes with travel distances of X-Axis 30 inches, Y-Axis 16 inches, Z-Axis 20 inches.

- **Travel Speeds**: Maximum cutting speed of 650 IPM; rapid speeds of 1,000 IPM.

- **Computer Numerical Controller**: Solid-state CNC control supporting full four-axis machining with high-speed software and a minimum of 64 GB program memory.

- **Automatic Tool Changer**: Minimum thirty (30) station tool changer capable of handling tools up to 12 lbs.

- **Coolant System**: High-pressure flood coolant system capable of delivering up to 14 GPM at 60 psi.

- **Chip Removal System**: Chip auger for evacuation into a collection bin.

- **Training**: On-site operator and maintenance training required for personnel at Anniston Army Depot.

Period of Performance
The contractor must complete installation within 120 calendar days after the award of the contract.
