Bill Young VA Healthcare System, Contracting Office, Bay Pines, FL 33744 has a need for BRAND NAME or EQUAL MSPSU (Mobile Sterile Processing Services Units, Quantity = two (2)) mobile trailers referenced in the below Statement of Need. Brand Name or Equal) Project Title: Mobile Sterile Processing Services Units (MSPSU) PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (BPVAHCS) is seeking to lease two Mobile Surgical Processing Services Units (MSPSU). The facility s Sterile Processing Services (SPS) will be closed for approximately 10 months for an HVAC renovation project. Using an MSPSU will allow the facility to continue performing decontamination, manual cleaning, and sterilization procedures during the renovation project. The MSPSUs at the main hospital at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center (one unit at building 100 and one unit at building 23). The units will be needed approximately beginning April 1, 2023. DESCRIPTION OF NEED: MSPSU: The selected vendor will deliver, set up, and certify two fully enclosed functioning Mobile Sterile Processing Services units that include: 3 Bay Decontamination Sink with Acu-sinQ Enzymatic Dosing System Two Vision Washers Electric Approximately 24 sets per hour. Caviwave Pro Pass Thru Window Four Prep and Pack Tables Two Steam Sterilizers Approximately 18 20 total sets per hour capacity Two (2) V-Pro Max VHP Low Temp Sterilizers RO/DI Water System (for final rinse on washers) Two Steam Generators ProConnect Response Center Hand wash sink with eye wash Water treatment system Sterile room HVAC system Continuous Air Pressure Monitoring Decontamination room Emergency Exit stairs and platform Power: The selected vendor shall be responsible for providing MSPSU that includes: Electrical Service: 480VAC, 3 phase, (2) 250 AMP Configuration: 4 wire (L1, L2, L3, G) Frequency: 60hz Shoreline Cable: (2) cables will be provided; facility end hard wired 100 if possible. Disconnects must be within 50 of the front/nose of the unit Request this be 100 if possible. Earth ground provided; installation per NEC Article 250 (1) single point female bayonet type located directly under the roadside power connection (1) 20 ground cable with (2) clamps The Facility will Provide: Emergency power Termination of wiring from the emergency power source to MSPSU connection Appropriate cable covers and fencing Hot Weather Package: The Facility will Provide: Electric Service: 480VAC, 3-Phase, 60hz 30 AMP breakers STERIS will supply HVAC pre-cooling unit including all ancillary components. Plumbing: The selected vendor will provide: 4-inch wastewater connection Functional validation of all sinks 1 1 4 inch connection (#5 Roadside Belly Box) External lines must be facility protected Minimum 40 psi dynamic at SPD The Facility will Provide: Potable cold water, minimum 25 GPM at 40-50 psi (dynamic) External piping from facility to MSPSU Insulation and heat tape to external pipe from facility to MSPSU connection Dedicated circuit for pipe heat tape Termination of heat tape to facility panel External drain piping from facility to MSPSU Water Testing: The selected vendor will provide water testing services and a monthly report showing compliance with AAMI standards and AAMI TIR34. Fire Alarm and Sprinkler System: The selected vendor will provide: Conventional analog fire alarm system with local audible visual, horn strobe alarm devices for occupant warning. 2 zones with detection and pull stations Sprinkler supply: 2-inch Victaulic coupling (rear of unit) Fire alarm remote dry contacts The Facility will Provide: Dedicated sprinkler supply 143 GPM at SPD Residual Pressure 46 psi minimum at SPD Termination wiring from trailer fire alarm dry contacts to facility Certification of system via third party Security Alarm: The selected vendor will supply: Intrusion alarm system on MSPSU exterior doors Exterior audible alarm at the trailer.
