YAKIMA CANYON PORTAPOTTY RENTAL Spokane District

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Spokane District Office is issuing this solicitation for the rental and servicing of portable toilets at the Bighorn and Lower Umtanum recreation sites in the Yakima River Canyon, WA. This contract is a high priority for providing sanitary services to ensure public safety and health at these newly opened recreation sites.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, parts, materials, insurance, transportation, and proper disposal methods to perform the following tasks:

1. Rental of industrial quality portable toilets that meet all applicable federal, state, and local codes.

2. Maintenance of units in a clean and serviceable condition, including:
a. Wall-mounted urinals, bench-style toilets with seats and covers, hand sanitizer dispensers, and multi-roll lockable toilet paper dispensers filled on every service visit.
b. Weekly servicing of toilets to include replenishing toilet paper, disinfecting and cleaning the inside of the units, pumping as necessary, and maintaining sanitary conditions.
c. Removal and disposal of all waste in compliance with state and local laws.
d. Cleaning of the unit inside and out to ensure they are free of streaks and markings.
e. Repairing any damage to units and refilling chemicals as needed.
f. Potential additional services may include increased frequency of servicing or additional units based on usage.

Period of Performance
Base Year: April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026;
Option Year 1: April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027;
Option Year 2: April 1, 2027 - March 31, 2028;
Option Year 3: April 1, 2028 - March 31, 2029;
Option Year 4: April 1, 2029 - March 31, 2030.
