Rental AC units with ducts

This is a competitive, unrestricted action among sources duly authorized to operate and do business in JAPAN. Offerors may be required to submit additional documentation demonstrating their ability to perform in Japan prior to award. ITEM NO. 0001, QUANTITY 1 GROUP DESCRIPTION: RENTAL OF TEMPORARY AIR CONDITIONER UNITS AND DUCTS Provide a rental service of five (5) air conditioners and duct insulation air hose as described below. Service Period: 288 Days, From 23 MAY 2018 to 06 MAR 2019 Location: Onboard USS SHILOH (CG-67) located Berth 6 Quantity 5 (Five): Air Conditioner Unit TEMPASIS C20 or Equal and Ventilation Ducts (Total length 400m) Connecting duct caliber: Quantity 80 each of 300mm/5m (+/-10% tolerance rate). Remarks: With Duct Insulation Air Hose, 300mm/5m (+/-10% tolerance rate) caliber. Type of Duct insulation should not be Fiber Grass due to safety hazard. Zipper type connection of the duct is desirable. The contractor shall deliver the rental units, install and set them up, to include connecting the ventilation ducts and duct insulation air hose, maintain the units and their duct work during the rental period, and remove the rental units and their duct work at the end of the rental period. The Government TMs intent is to use the rental units and their duct work on a continuous basis during the rental period to cool interior spaces of USS SHILOH.
